Youth Cadet Leadership Program

The Youth Cadet Leadership Program is the signature youth program of the LAPD. The Youth Cadet Leadership Program strongly focuses on youth development, youth leadership, and community stewardship. Off-Highway Vehicles 4 Me (OHV4ME) Program

OHV4ME expanded in 2023, growing from being able to previously serve 20 at-risk youth between the ages of 10-17 years to 44 kids. This successful program brings officers and youth together weekly for 21 weeks to learn riding, safety, and maintenance of motorcycles, regardless of their riding experience.
